Facilities Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.

What you'll be doing…
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repair services on commercial HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and associated equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems.
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments, reporting conditions that impact client operations.
- Travel to multiple client locations within an assigned geographic territory using a company vehicle.
- Execute assigned work orders using CMMS technology with minimal supervision.
- Rotate on-call duties with 2-3 other technicians in the area.

The right person has…
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with a strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Universal EPA/CFC certification required.
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
- Strong English language skills including technical documentation abilities.
- Experience with building automation systems and CMMS technology preferred.
