Description

Title- Facilities Maintenance Technician
Duration- 3-month contract to permanent
Location- Pleasanton, CA, 94588
Shift Timings- Mon- Fri, 7 am- 3:30 pm
Pay Rate- $ 34.68/ hr.
Summary
  • Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. Must be open to overtime and Saturdays with notice if needed.
  • A valid driver's license is required. Candidate must have a DMV check added to their background check. As they will be driving C lient's Vehicles.
  • In this hands-on role, the incumbent performs preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment located at the corporate campuses or owned and leased properties. Responds to scheduled, unscheduled and preventative maintenance work orders to support the maintenance and operation of the building systems. Direct supervision is received from Building Engineer and the indirect supervision and task management received from Senior Manager.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and specialized vocational training from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level technicians in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general construction fields is required.
2 years of related experience and/or specialized training.
Ability to identify problems or dangers, report issues and provide solution.
Communication and interpersonal skills to answer queries from end-users.
Ability to work as part of a team, work under pressure and a tight schedule.
A flexible approach to work shifts and answer emergency calls.
A valid driver's license is required.
Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
*Ability to lift upto 50lbs.
