Facilities Technician - Temp-to-Hire
Pay:$27-29/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime as needed)
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to support the daily maintenance and operation of a manufacturing facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in keeping facilities running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
- Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Complete general repairs, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and light construction projects
- Assist with facility moves, equipment installations, and production-related projects
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance
- Maintain building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire, and security systems
- Support facility readiness for changing weather conditions
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks
