    About the Role

    The Facilities Technician II performs skilled maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair work across facility systems and equipment. This role operates with greater independence, supports operational reliability, and helps mentor entry-level technicians while ensuring facilities remain safe, efficient, and compliant. This position works 6:30am - 3:00pm, with one weekend day per week.

    This role is ideal for someone who:

    • Enjoys troubleshooting and solving facility-related issues
    • Has experience working across multiple building systems
    • Likes mentoring less experienced team members
    • Takes ownership of projects from start to finish

    What You’ll Be Responsible For

    • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs across facility systems
    • Repairing and maintaining plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, doors, ceilings, and facility infrastructure
    • Performing drywall repair, painting, texture work, and finish projects
    • Managing work orders and facility maintenance requests
    • Coordinating with vendors and contractors when needed
    • Training and supporting Facilities Technician I team members

    • Maintenance requests are completed promptly

    What We’re Looking For

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Must be at least 21 years old
    • Two to four years of facilities maintenance, construction, building systems, or related experience (Three to four years of related experience preferred)
    • Ability to independently perform routine and moderately complex repairs
    • Solid knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and building systems

    • Work across residential, behavioral health, healthcare, office, and community-based facilities
    • Frequent use of maintenance equipment, hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and machinery
    • Climbing, kneeling, crawling, reaching, lifting, and working in mechanical spaces may be required
    • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
    • Occasional local travel, on-call responsibilities, and after-hours response may be required
    • Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for members and staff
