Position Summary:
Maintains building and property, performing routine repairs, painting, and maintenance activities.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Replaces HVAC and smoke eater filters.
- Notifies management concerning the need for any repairs.
- Removes snow, ice, and debris from all facility entrances and walkways. Maintains exterior grounds and parking lot.
- Maintains floor cleanliness.
- Communicates inventory supply status to management.
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks. Reports on any observed security, environmental and health and safety related concerns and any equipment malfunctions.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, reach, stoop and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
