JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.). Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Under supervision, uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications.
Overall Summary
Entry-level support individual contributor.
Work is closely supervised. Work consists of tasks that are routine.
Explains facts and practices related to job area.
Nature of Supervision
Works with close supervision on routine tasks.
Detailed instructions are provided and close peer review is required.
Communication & Influence
Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
