    Description

    The Facilities Maintenance Technician must be able to work independently and with others.  The physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Constant bending, standing and walking.  Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Thru CAC funded programs, the Facility Technician will achieve a CPR certification and also be a certified State of Illinois Pool Operator.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
    • Monitoring the safety  of interior and exterior areas.
    • Perform daily routine inspections and schedule outside vendor repairs as needed.
    • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, including completing maintenance orders.
    • Monitoring stock and ordering supplies such as paper goods, pool chemicals, and bath essentials.
    • Maintain chemical balances in the pool and spa as well as assist with draining and cleaning as needed.

    This is an hourly full time position and is based on a minimum of 40 hours per week.  On occasion, some projects or tasks may need to be performed after club hours.
