Facilities TechnicianSummary
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining our building, property and outdoor areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and facility upkeep as needed
- Maintain lawns, landscaping, and outdoor areas
- Perform snow removal, shoveling, and salting during winter months
- Keep sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and grounds clean and safe
- Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns
- Assist with seasonal grounds and facility projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment safely
- Respond to general maintenance requests throughout the facility
- Perform other facility and grounds duties as assigned.
- As part of the AROW Global team you will need to understand the AROW Business System policy and objectives and how you affect conformance to them.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience with hand tools.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic reasoning skills to carry out work instructions provided in various forms.
- Good problem-solving skills.
