    Description

    The Facilities Support Assistant is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized environments across CORA's facilities in Bend and Redmond, Oregon. This position performs routine housekeeping, facility support, supply stocking and light physical tasks.
     
    Working under the direction of the Purchasing & Facilities Manager and Purchasing & Facilities Assistant, this role helps ensure that patient care areas, offices, breakrooms, and common spaces remain clean, stocked, and operational. The Facilities Support Assistant may also transports supplies, documents, and equipment between CORA locations to support daily business operations.
     
    This position requires regular, reliable attendance and a high level of attention to detail, safety awareness, and professionalism. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize daily tasks, maintain confidentiality, and provide dependable support to staff and patients.

    Hours: Monday-Friday 1p-6p
    Location: 1460 NE Medical Center Dr, Bend OR 97701
    Position Type: Part Time w/ pro-rated benefits
    Wages: Starting at $19/hr, DOE and internal equity of current employees

    Essential Duties
    Housekeeping & Facility Support
    • Clean and maintain offices, work areas, common spaces, breakrooms, restrooms, and storage areas.
    • Perform routine housekeeping tasks to ensure facilities present a clean and professional appearance.
    • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and dispose of waste as assigned.
    • Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns to leadership.
    • Replenish paper products, cleaning supplies, and other facility consumables.
    • Support office and workspace setup activities as directed.
    • Maintain clean and organized storage and supply areas.
     
    Supply & Inventory Support
    • Receive and distribute incoming deliveries and packages.
    • Sign for shipments and notify departments of deliveries.
    • Assist with stocking and organizing supplies throughout facilities.
    • Support inventory monitoring and replenishment efforts.
    • Transport supplies and materials between departments and locations as needed.
     
    Grounds & Seasonal Support
    • Assist with maintaining clean and safe exterior building areas.
    • Remove litter and monitor facility entrances and walkways.
    • Assist with snow removal and ice mitigation activities as needed.
    • Support seasonal facility preparation projects.
     
    Safety & Compliance
    • Follow all organizational safety policies and procedures.
    • Utilize proper lifting techniques and safety equipment when performing physical tasks.
    • Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents promptly.
    • Protect confidential patient, employee, and business information.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
     
    Teamwork & Customer Service
    • Interact professionally with patients, visitors, vendors, and employees.
    • Support multiple departments with facility-related needs.
    • Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing priorities.
    • Work cooperatively as part of a team while also functioning independently.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Requirements
    Education
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
    Experience
    • Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, courier, facilities support, or related experience preferred.
    • Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred but not required.
    • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
    • Must meet eligibility requirements for coverage under the organization's insurance carrier.
