Overview:
Property Management with Student Affairs is excited to begin the search for a Facilities Student Assistant to assist with inspection and maintenance projects within the residence halls’ interior and exterior to ensure facilities are properly maintained to meet Auburn Property Management standards. Assist management in identifying areas of improvement, project planning and preparation, and inventory management.
The position of Facilities Student Assistant with the department of Property Management exceeds the expectations of a typical student employee. It is distinguished by the responsibility for a wide variety of both routine and non-routine assignments across multiple areas. Due to the nature of the environment, an elevated level of professionalism and interpersonal skills are required.
- Compensation: $10.00 to $12.50 per hour for at least 20 per week
- Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch)

Responsibilities:
- Assist with Residence Hall Inspections and general housing maintenance.
- Operate equipment with small engines/motors such as power washers, carpet cleaners, and other power tools.
- Assist with maintenance, including inspecting furniture, moving furniture, repairing furniture, replacing damaged or defective appliances, and other duties as needed to prepare rooms.
Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled student at Auburn University.
Pay Range:
USD $10.00 - USD $12.50 /Hr.
