    Job Description
     
    We are looking for a Facilities Specialist 1 with experience in facilities coordination, office maintenance, vendor management, or facility operations. The role will support day-to-day facility activities, including maintenance coordination, vendor relationships, office space planning, safety and security, inventory, and documentation to ensure a safe and well-maintained workplace.
     
    Required Skills & Experience
     
    • Experience in facilities coordination, facilities management, or a related field
    • Experience coordinating maintenance, repairs, vendors, or contractors
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity software
    • Ability to maintain accurate facilities, maintenance, and repair records
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Attention to detail and commitment to safety
    • Experience supporting office/building operations
    • Vendor coordination and interpersonal/negotiation skills.
     
    Key Responsibilities
     
    • Assist with day-to-day office maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and safety activities
    • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, janitorial, and security service providers
    • Assist with obtaining quotes and ensuring vendor services are delivered as agreed
    • Support office moves, workspace allocation, and space reconfigurations
    • Assist with safety and security protocols, including alarms and access controls
    • Conduct or assist with safety inspections and assessments
    • Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment
    • Support recycling, waste disposal, and other sustainability activities
    • Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, events, and conferences
    • Maintain records and documentation related to facilities, repairs, and maintenance
    Support other facility-related operational activities as needed
