Express Employment Professionals is seeking Facilities Repair Specialists on behalf of multiple clients maintaining residential housing and hotel properties. If you thrive on solving problems, this role puts you at the center of day‑to‑day building operations.

Role snapshot

• Worksites: Pitcairn, Whitehall, Hazelwood, Duquesne, Greentree, Oakland, Castle Shannon, Shadyside
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Compensation: Starting at $20+/hour (experience dependent)
• Environment: Mixed portfolio of hotels and residential units

What you’ll do

• Execute general maintenance across multiple properties
• Perform painting, drywall patching/finishing, light plumbing, and basic electrical
• Diagnose and resolve minor issues in apartments, rooms, and common areas
• Repair walls, doors, hardware, fixtures, and related components
• Complete cosmetic upgrades to keep spaces guest‑ and move‑in‑ready
• Respond to service requests and accurately close work orders
• Travel between locations to meet daily priorities
• Operate independently while managing time and tasks effectively

What you’ll bring

• Demonstrated skills in painting, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical
• Strong general maintenance knowledge
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Consistent reliability and strong work ethic
• Capacity to commute among properties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
