Facilities Repair & Maintenance SpecialistFull-Time | $20.00–$25.00/hour | Benefits | Novi, MIJoin Our Facilities TeamMedical Alternatives, Inc. is looking for an experienced, dependable Facilities Repair & Maintenance Specialist to help keep our properties safe, functional, and well maintained.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and variety. Rather than doing the same task every day, you'll handle a mix of repairs, maintenance projects, troubleshooting, and property upkeep.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and knows how to identify and solve everyday building maintenance issues.What You'll Be DoingYour day-to-day work may include:Troubleshooting basic electrical and plumbing problemsCompleting general building repairsPerforming carpentry and minor construction workRepairing drywall and completing painting and finish workInstalling and repairing flooringHandling basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshootingTaking care of lawn, yard, and exterior property needsPerforming preventative maintenance to help avoid larger repairsResponding to maintenance needs at company propertiesKeeping work areas safe, clean, and organizedHandling occasional urgent maintenance needs outside of regular hoursWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for a well-rounded maintenance professional with hands-on experience in several of the following areas:ElectricalPlumbingCarpentryDrywall and paintingFinish workFlooringHVACLawn and property maintenanceGeneral repairs and building upkeepThe right candidate will also be:Reliable and punctualComfortable working independentlyAble to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutionsOrganized and able to prioritize maintenance requestsWilling to assist with occasional weekend or after-hours needsFocused on completing work safely and correctlyHoursThis is a full-time position with a generally consistent weekday schedule.Typical schedule: 8:00 AM–4:00 PMCandidates should have some flexibility to stay until approximately 5:00 PM when necessary.Occasional weekend or after-hours availability may be needed for urgent maintenance situations.Compensation & Benefits$20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experienceFull-time employmentComprehensive benefits packageConsistent work scheduleLong-term employment opportunityVariety of projects and responsibilitiesEstablished and supportive organizationAbout Medical Alternatives, Inc.For more than 30 years, Medical Alternatives, Inc. has provided services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries.
