Job Description:
An experienced Facilities Project Manager with deep knowledge of the job area and practical expertise in project management. Responsible for managing projects and processes while planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, construction, and modification of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data related to facility and equipment specifications, regulatory requirements, completion schedules, and execution feasibility. Regularly communicate with internal and external partners to interpret and clarify operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommend improvements to systems and processes to support operational targets for key programs and projects. Collaborate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare detailed layouts and drawings. Prepare bid sheets, project justifications, statements of work, and contracts for construction and facility acquisitions. Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and related expenditures. Oversee construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to established drawings, specifications, budgets, and schedules. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members within the job area as needed.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $79,500-$147,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
