Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Facilities Project Engineer for a Contract with a client in Saint Paul, MN. The ideal candidate must have strong documentation review and technical writing experience to support facility validation protocols, commissioning reports, and compliance reporting.

Rate Range: $42/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Facilities Project Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Review, maintain, and ensure accurate execution of facility validation protocols, commissioning reports, SOPs, and other controlled documentation.

  • Conduct investigations into non-conformances and site-specific compliance issues related to facility systems, including HVAC, pest control, and other building operations.

  • Perform root cause analysis, document findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to resolve operational and compliance gaps.

  • Partner closely with Facility Managers and cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance.

  • Support the development and maintenance of engineering documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, gap analyses, risk assessments, and control plans.

  • Perform facility inspections, assess existing processes, and ensure all procedures, protocols, and documentation remain accurate, current, and audit-ready.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing facilities environment.

  • Strong technical writing and documentation review experience.

  • Experience with root cause analysis, investigations, and non-conformance management.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $45.00 per hour
