Job Title: Facilities Project Engineer, Biotech GMP Facilities (JP15189)Location: Holly Springs, NC. 27540Employment Type: ContractBusiness Unit: CPECDuration: Initial 8 months with likely extensions and/or conversion to permanentPosting Date: 04/6/2026Pay Rate: $35 - $38/hour  W2 3 Key Consulting is hiring Facilities Engineer for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.Job Description: Looking for more of a junior resource with ideally 4-5+ years of experience.Open for candidates with experience with project engineering and coordination experience. Position involves support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly for facilities related scope. Employ engineering skills and practices to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution by third party firms. Assist with project definition by performing engineering studies and assessment for facilities system, perform quality and overall facilities walkdowns. Perform field evaluations of existing systems and provide engineering design recommendations. Participate and be a delegate in commissioning walks for the facilities management team. Skills: self-started, ability to communicate effectively, manage tasks to completion. Experience with facilities management and projects is a must.Why is the Position Open? • Work closely with Facilities Sr Mgr. and Facilities Mgr. to work through commissioning and start up of new Amgen facilities in North Carolina
• Participate in walkdowns
• Proactive problem solving in communication with facilities management team
• Owner of change controls / deviations / CAPAs
• Provide support for Inspection readiness

Basic Qualifications:Master degree or Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience or Associate degree and 6 years of experience or high school diploma / GED and 8 years of experienceRed Flags: Likes to work in silos - Needs to be comfortable working in a team environment.
