    Description

    Gigafactory Nevada is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Grounds Supervisor to support daily grounds operations and projects.

    • Responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating the operations daily activities and project priorities
    • Responsible for managing on-call support due to extreme weather conditions and new project support requests
    • Duties include formulating policies and procedures, supervising night/day operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources
    • Provide training, mentoring, performance improvement and career development to personnel on shift
    • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives

    • Plan, supervise, and coordinate the Operations Support Group, ensuring full compliance with Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) regulations and company policies; enforce adherence to safety protocols; promote a strong safety culture through risk assessments, hazard identification, training, and continuous improvement advocacy
    • 6+ years of related operations experience supporting complex manufacturing or other industrial facilities
    • Champion compliance with all site safety procedures and requirements
    • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for 10+ hours per day
    • Sits at computer terminal, uses computer for extended periods of time
    • Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
    • Capable of obtaining OSHA 30 within 3 months of hire
    • Work in heavy equipment rooms, chemical storage, and distribution locations, and industrial waste plants
