Position Details:

Title: Facilities Engineer

Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75051

Pay Rate: $68.51 per hour on W2

Contract: 04 Months contract with potential extension

Shift : 4/10A-1st Shift

Authorization: US Citizenship Required

Job Description:
This Mechanical Engineer role includes HVAC design and commissioning. You will deliver comprehensive engineering packages-from calculating initial cooling/heating loads to programming sequences of operation and validating final system performance.
Plans, designs and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Basic Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's Degree (in Mechanical Engineering)
2) 8+ Experienced in HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing systems and equipment design
3) Experience delivering comprehensive engineering packages-from calculating initial cooling/heating loads to programming sequences of operation and validating final system performance.
LM will provide safety eyewear.
