    • Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque?s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.

    Responsibilities

    The Facilities Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for facility maintenance and support services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for patients, visitors, and team members. This role oversees daily facility operations, capital projects, vendor relationships, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and continuous process improvements while leading a high-performing team focused on operational excellence.

    • Lead the daily operations of facility maintenance, building systems, and support services across assigned locations.
    • Supervise, coach, and develop facilities team members while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence.
    • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
    • Oversee facility construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
    • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
    • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and facility-related purchases.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
    • Partner with leaders across the organization to resolve facility-related issues, support strategic initiatives, and improve the overall care environment.
    • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices that enhance facility operations, reliability, and customer service.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor?s Degree in a related field of study (education may be substituted for relevant experience)
    • Three (3) years of related experience
    • One (1) year of supervisory experience

    Preferred Job Requirements:

    • Boiler Operator license and/or at least one other contractor's or journeyman's license
