In this role, you'll put your maintenance experience to work by handling a variety of projects including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, roofing, and general facility repairs. No two days are the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and seeing the direct impact of their work.


What You'll Do:


+ Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance repairs

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and roofing issues

+ Conduct building inspections and identify repair needs

+ Complete service requests with quality workmanship and excellent customer service

+ Coordinate with contractors and vendors on specialized projects

+ Prepare units for tenant turnover

+ Order materials, maintain inventory, and manage supplies

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide technical support when needed


What We're Looking For:


+ 5+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance

+ HVAC experience preferred

+ Valid New York State driver's license

+ Reliable vehicle to transport tools and equipment

+ Proof of automobile liability insurance

+ Basic maintenance tools (or willingness to obtain them)

+ Smartphone for communication and work-related tasks

+ EPA Certification preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.


Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
