    Description

    Scentsy is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain all Scentsy-owned buildings, properties, and equipment through routine and special maintenance projects.

    What You'll Do:

    • Ensure work areas and grounds are clean and maintained (e.g. spill clean-up, trash removal, etc.)
    • Troubleshoot issues and perform repair and maintenance to buildings and properties (e.g. electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, painting, etc.)
    • Troubleshoot issues and perform repair and maintenance to equipment and systems (e.g. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), fire, and safety systems)
    • Assist in grounds maintenance including snow removal and repair
    • Construct, maintain, and repair office furniture and fixtures
    • Coordinate equipment layouts, moves, and maintenance
    • Assist with office or workspace moves
    • Maintain maintenance records, systematically track work orders, and perform clerical functions as assigned
    • May occasionally drive to local vendors and retailers to pick up parts or equipment
    • Work with the Safety team to meet company compliance standards including life safety and facility safety
    • Assist facilities team with various maintenance and janitorial projects
    • Change HVAC filters as directed
    • Complete work orders as directed
    • Complete room and event set-up/tear-down requests for meetings and events
    • Occasionally drive to local vendors and retailers to pick up parts or equipment
    • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

    We're Looking For:

    • Previous experience in facilities maintenance preferred
    • High School Diploma
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, required
    • Basic knowledge of standard maintenance practices including but not limited to: general plumbing repair, electrical repair, office furniture assembly and repair, general equipment repair, HVAC maintenance, and touch-up painting preferred
    • Experience and knowledge of operating equipment including a forklift truck, delivery truck, snow removal equipment, scissor lift, safely around people and equipment preferred
    • Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment
    • Must have a working knowledge of computers and all applicable software
    • Working knowledge of support ticket and dispatching tracking software is a plus
    • Ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis
    • Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders, or mechanically elevated devices and be comfortable around heights and working on a roof
