Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, lighting, overhead doors, and other building systems.
-Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues involving industrial machinery and aviation ground support equipment.
-Maintain PM schedules, maintenance records, equipment histories, and facility/safety inspection documentation.
-Coordinate with vendors and contractors while supporting general building maintenance, fire/life-safety systems, grounds, and facility upkeep.
Requirements
-2-5 years of building, facilities, industrial maintenance, or related mechanical/electrical trade experience; high school diploma or GED required.
-Working knowledge of electrical, and plumbing systems with the ability to independently troubleshoot common maintenance issues.
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders/lifts, in confined spaces, and in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
-Ability to pass required background, pre-employment, and random drug/alcohol screenings; strong mechanical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferences
-Aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or other regulated-facility maintenance experience, along with exposure to compressed air, generators, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, or industrial equipment.
-Trade school/associate degree, forklift certification, and OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification; candidates without certifications may be eligible to obtain them after hire.
Compensation & Benefits
-$28-$34 per hour, based on experience, skills, and certifications.
