Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will report into the Regional Manager Facilities while maintaining all equipment and systems at the Hertz Airport car rental location.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general building maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance at Hertz rental facilities. This position requires hands-on experience across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and structural maintenance. The technician will help maintain buildings and business-critical equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations and minimize business disruptions.

The starting hourly rate for this opportunity is $31/hr.; commensurate with experience.

What You''ll Do

• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and general building maintenance, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair building systems, fixtures and business-critical equipment, including lighting, plumbing, doors, walls, ceilings, car wash equipment, vacuum systems other building components.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and operational disruptions.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritize repairs, and resolve facility issues to minimize operational disruptions during regular working hours.
• Maintain and create accurate work orders, repair history, and labor hours in work order management, ServiceChannel.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained to company standards while following all applicable safety procedures.
• Perform minor project as directed by Facilities Manager.
• Monitor service providers as directed by Facilities Manager.
• Ensure appropriate and consistent reporting of the Hertz Facilities to Facilities Manager.

What We''re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of four years in a similar or related role and working with service providers
• Building and grounds general maintenance
• Understanding of systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, car washes, vacuum systems and fuel stations
• Construction, repair and maintenance
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and PC skills such as email, Word and Excel,
• Environmental considerations
• Effectively communicate with all stakeholders

Work Environment:

Candidates must be able to work in hazardous surroundings and at heights up to 60'. The employee will be required to safely walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, see and hear.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions including wet, humid, cold, and heat. Work environment may include hazardous materials and conditions, high noise level and dust.
