Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician for a client in Auburn, IN. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment and facilities, troubleshooting issues, completing preventative maintenance, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and properly functioning manufacturing environment. Shift and Compensation
  • 1st Shift: 6-2:30 PM
  • Compensation is from 52,000 USD to 72,800 USD per year
Job Duties
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant equipment and facility-related systems in a safe, timely, and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and complete necessary repairs
  • Conduct daily walkthrough inspections of equipment and assigned areas
  • Perform preventative maintenance during scheduled run-time and downtime periods
  • Assist with troubleshooting production and facility-related issues as needed
  • Follow maintenance instructions and priorities provided by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Document work through work orders and accurately track time and completed repairs
  • Communicate equipment and maintenance issues to supervisors, staff, and operators through verbal and written updates
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment
  • Support a team-oriented maintenance environment
  • Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Environmental policies
  • Respond to internal and external maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and overall facility operations
Background Profile
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in maintenance or a related technical field preferred
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues
  • Hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license required for business travel
  • Robotic programming knowledge preferred, but not required
  • PLC logic troubleshooting knowledge preferred, but not required
