Position Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the facility, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. This position serves as the primary contact for external service providers, ensures compliance with OSHA and local building regulations, and supports capital improvement projects as needed. The role involves routine facility inspections, maintaining service records, coordinating complex repairs with vendors, and ensuring adherence to internal safety protocols.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance of the facility, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Serve as primary contact for external facility service providers (e.g., janitorial, utilities, waste management).
• Perform routine maintenance on company machinery and coordinate with outside specialists for complex repairs.
• Maintain accurate records related to maintenance activities, service contracts, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.
• Coordinate with local municipalities to maintain compliance with fire codes, building regulations, and other applicable local standards.
• Support capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of OSHA standards, building codes, and fire safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regulatory officials.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for machinery and systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50lbs+
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• English proficiency
