Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

This role is responsible for the overall maintenance performance of facility threading lines. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance personnel, supports hiring and training initiatives, manages maintenance planning and scheduling, oversees parts and equipment procurement, maintains accurate records in SAP, and coordinates with service providers and contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Your Role at a Glance
- Evaluate equipment design, functionality, and maintainability to support operational excellence.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, value stream mapping, process center-lining, and standard work.
- Coach and train employees on CNC lathe operations to ensure production of high-quality products.
- Ensure proper use of precision measuring instruments, including dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other quality tools.
- Provide maintenance leadership and technical expertise for Mori and Okuma lathes.
- Promote and uphold a strong safety culture throughout maintenance activities.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Review, coordinate, and execute weekly maintenance schedules.
- Ensure accurate documentation and completion of maintenance work orders within SAP.
- Develop and implement training plans for maintenance personnel.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for maintenance parts and supplies.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Twenty-four months of education or training in CNC lathe operations, maintenance, repair, or a related technical field.
- Minimum two years of maintenance experience, including the ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
- Experience maintaining CNC equipment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background, drug, and work screening requirements.
- Availability to work day shift, rotating weekend duty, and provide 24/7 support as operational needs require.
