Spectra Tech, LLC, is currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Repair Project Coordinator to work on a government project at Adelphi Laboratory Center in Adelphi, MD. This position is full-time and onsite at Adelphi Laboratory Center (ALC). ResponsibilitiesResponds to maintenance work orders in a timely manner and provide clear documentation of completed tasksInspects facilities regularly to identify issues related to safety, appearance, and operationsRepairs drywall, doors, locks, window hardware, flooring, ceiling tiles, and other building componentsConducts basic electrical tasks such as replacing bulbsAddresses minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and maintaining restroom hardwarePerforms painting, patching, touch-ups, and surface preparation to maintain building aestheticsSupports custodial, grounds, and vendor activities as needed, including escorting contractors and verifying work qualityMaintains tools, equipment, and supplies in good working order; ensure safe use of materials and adherence to company safety standardsAssists with office or tenant space moves, furniture assembly, and small projects as requestedEnsures to provide excellent customer service to building occupants and maintain professional communication at all timesEstablishes and maintains procedures for tracking necessary information to respond to taskers and information inquiriesPrepares responses to taskers and information inquiries from senior level managementCollects, analyzes, and summarizes relevant technical and programmatic information from a variety of sources in support of ARL's missionCoordinates and organizes meetings, workshops, tours, or other special events – to include setting up displays pertaining to laboratories and experimental facilitiesMonitors progress of technical programs, to include topics such as maintaining and modifying program schedules; tracking milestones and deliverables; analyzing staffing requirements; tracking, analyzing, and projecting budget data, preparing modeling and simulation and/or systems engineering plansDevelops and recommends procedures for tracking administrative requirements and develop and recommend a system to continually improve efficiency and performance in these areasAnalyzes technical and non-technical aspects of a given business unit and suggest metrics for trackingTracks, reviews, and analyzes branch, division, or other work unit performance versus established metricsTracks and monitors business unit or program requirements in the areas of safety, security, environment, or other administrative areasCreates, customizes, prepares, and maintains presentations, briefing charts, and technical and nontechnical documents using computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), websites, graphical elements, scanned photos, and other presentation matterResponsible for preparing documentation from draft to final formSupports meetings and special events for the organization (e.g., Days of Remembrance, Organizational Day, Bring-Your-Child-to-Work Day), to include coordinating attendance, amenities and accommodations at the event.
