Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING

We believe that by applying the highest standards of business ethics and creative thinking, everything is within our reach - and yours as a Lockheed Martin employee. Lockheed Martin values your skills, training and education. Come and experience your future!

THE WORK

Facilities Operations & Maintenance Associate Manager, leads the facilities maintenance team for the Moorestown site, ensuring that all work aligns with Lockheed Martin engineering standards and platform requirements.

The role includes recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring facilities maintenance personnel, conducting annual performance reviews, providing career coaching, delivering safety and technical orientations, enforcing corporate policies, and promoting a culture of safety and accountability.

A key responsibility is to implement and continuously improve a robust preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM) program that follows OEM recommendations, industry best practices, and a defined schedule ranging from annual to monthly. This includes performing regular inspections of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire‑life‑safety systems, production equipment, and forklifts; quickly troubleshooting issues; and staying abreast of emerging HVAC and control‑system technologies.

The incumbent will manage rehabilitation projects such as HVAC replacements, roof installations, and plumbing upgrades, collaborating with corporate functions, managing the bidding process, monitoring construction compliance, and conducting final inspections.

Financial duties involve assisting in the development of operating and capital budgets, and supporting the Facility Manager with cost‑control initiatives.

Safety and regulatory compliance are achieved by coordinating the annual Lockheed Martin Safety Program to reach 100 % site compliance, administering inventory control, procuring parts, ensuring adherence to codes, regulations, and company directives, and responding promptly to emergencies and customer concerns.

The Associate Manager maintains an Operations Document Library containing equipment manuals, warranties, vendor reports and start‑up/commissioning records; develops specifications; oversees maintenance and repair service contracts; and coordinates work with external contractors, tenant finish personnel, and engineers.

Regular status reports are provided to site leadership, clients, facilities management, and vendors. The role also includes tracking punch‑list items and following up on corrective actions.

Overall, the Associate Manager ensures the implementation of preventive maintenance, effective inventory control, and life‑safety system testing, guaranteeing safe and economical plant operation while holding all personnel under direction accountable for performance and safety.
