JOB DESCRIPTION: Title: Facilities Maintainer (Full time & Part time) II Department: Maintenance Reports to: Facilities Manager Date: 6/11/01 POSITION DEFINITION: A Facilities Maintainer is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner as directed by the Facilities Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to painting, plastering, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, snow removal, etc., as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Reports any unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, etc., to the Facilities Manager.
- Performs other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Facilities Manager, Department Director and/or the Administrator.
- Aware of agency policies and procedures re: safety, medical waste, infection and exposures control and management.
- Work with an awareness to stressors
- Anticipate needs of the job and its changing environment due to weather or department demands
- Maintain daily projects and ongoing projects in a safe and orderly manner
