Facilities Systems Engineer

$7 - 65/Hr on W2
Introduction
Join our dynamic team in Pleasanton, CA, where you will provide technical facilities support, including analyzing engineering-design concepts and installation specifications. Work collaboratively with Project Engineering groups to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified equipment, processes, utilities, facilities controls, and safety/security systems. You will be responsible for developing an Asset Management plan to monitor assets, including buildings and equipment, and apply value analysis for Capex and Opex decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant engineering principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards and their application.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to and deal with change and ambiguity.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems; Utility and/or Electrical monitoring systems; SCADA systems; and Enterprise Asset Management System (Client) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) systems.
- Familiarity with the interdisciplinary nature of healthcare operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyze preliminary engineering-design concepts of major projects to develop reliability engineering programs.
- Participate in the development of design and installation specifications, along with commissioning plans.
- Develop and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes preventive maintenance tasks and predictive testing methodologies.
