Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Technician

In this exciting position, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing industrial fabrication machinery, facility equipment, and building systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
1^st shift 5:00-3:30pm Mon-Thurs occasional Friday work about once a month 5:00AM-1PM

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on with preventative maintenance and basic repairs on industrial fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Unleash your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with industrial equipment.
• Collaborate on maintenance and repairs involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Show off your electrical prowess with basic troubleshooting and repairs on single-phase, split-phase, and three-phase electrical power, all within your training and authorization.
• Keep power cords, power tools, and other small equipment in top shape.
• Light up the place by replacing bulbs, repairing fixtures, and performing general lighting maintenance.
• Ensure clean air flows with routine filter changes for HVAC systems and other equipment.
• Keep forklifts and delivery vehicles running smoothly with minor repairs and maintenance.
• Join in on basic plumbing repairs and facility maintenance tasks.
• Take pride in maintaining the exterior of the facility with general groundskeeping.
• Spot equipment issues and report any major repairs or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and maintenance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bring your basic electrical and mechanical knowledge to the table.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairs is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery, preventative maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a bonus.
• Confidently use common hand tools and power tools safely.
• Have a basic understanding of plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and general facility repairs.
• Be a problem-solver who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Be reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, bending, lifting, and working around industrial equipment.
