Description

Title: Facilities Engineer
Location: St. Paul, MN, 55112
Duration: 7 Months (09/21/2026 to 03/19/2027)

100% onsite. (New Brighton Location)
Days/Hours: Mon Friday 8: 00am to 5: 00pm

Description:
The ideal candidate is someone who has good documentation review skills as this role will be focused on writing commissioning reports, building facilities validation protocols, and reporting.
They will conduct investigation into non-conformances related to HVAC controls, pest controls, etc. From the designated site. They will work directly with the facility manager to implement improvement projects.
Ideally, they would have some background in equipment as well

  • Technical writing
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Root cause analysis and investigation experience
  • Excellent documentation and execution skills;will investigate any nonconformances related to any site-specific issues within the facility.

What You ll Do:
  • Review documentation of procedures and ensure proper execution of protocols and SOPs for this New Brighton site.
  • This will involve facility inspection, investigation into existing practices related directly to buildings protocols, including the HVAC and pest control, among others.
  • Documentation of any non-conformances and work with site manager to assure all processes are accurate and up to date.
  • Investigation of any non-compliance items and recording of findings
  • Support the maintenance of controlled process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, gap analysis, control plans, and risk management documentation.
  • Resolution may involve the application of new methods and approaches and may require the consideration of impact with other system components.
  • Interaction with peers and mentors on the individual's projects is generally in the context of peer review to confirm the rationale for task approach direction as well as peer review of verification/validation activities.

Basic qualifications/Education:
  • Bachelor degree in engineering (any kind of engineering will be considered)
  • Experience: 3+ years Prior experience preferred
  • Exposure to engineering in a manufacturing facilities environment.
