Facilities Coordinator

Our care philosophy is guided by the following core principles: Dignity and Respect Information Sharing Participation Collaboration JOB PURPOSE Under the direction of the V.P. of Facilities Support Services, provide support to all staffed departments within the Facilities Support Services hierarchy, including Plant Operations and Maintenance, Environmental Services, Laundry, Communications, and Food Nutrition. Additionally, provide administrative logistical support for all contracted service providers. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in operations management. EXPERIENCE:Minimum of five (5) years experience in an operations setting; Healthcare experience is strongly preferred; TECHNOLOGY:Aptitude for utilizing computers, databases, and spreadsheets is required. LICENSURE:Must possess a valid State-issued drivers license. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and work independently. Possess effective time-management skills and the ability to prioritize. Possess working knowledge of The Joint Commission standards. Ability to work in a team-centered environment. Ability to work in various geographical locations, as deemed necessary in support of the Facilities Support Services Department. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Maximum lifting capability of 50 lbs. Ability to periodically climb ladders. Frequent amount of sitting, standing, and walking. Frequent amount of computer and telephone use. SCHEDULE Generally, Monday through Friday, day shift.
