    Contract Details

    • Work Mode: Onsite, 5 days/week
    • Location: Herndon, VA (Virginia residents only)
    • Travel: Once per month to Chantilly, VA
    • Schedule: 40 hours/week; standard business hours; occasional after-hours as needed
    • Duration: 09/14/2026 09/13/2027
    • Potential to convert to full-time after ~1 year (not guaranteed)

    About the Opportunity

    Join an enterprise organization as a Facilities Coordinator supporting daily office operations, front desk reception, and vendor/service coordination. This role is highly visible and customer-facing, ensuring a well-run office environment and a great experience for employees and visitors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide front desk reception support for guests, visitors, and employees.
    • Assist the Senior Facilities Manager with administrative and facilities coordination tasks.
    • Oversee and coordinate janitorial, food, coffee, badging, and fitness center waiver processes.
    • Manage stocking of pantry and office supplies.
    • Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail and general office shipments.
    • Issue office announcements via distribution lists.
    • Dispatch maintenance service requests to the landlord as needed.
    • Organize and maintain filing systems for reports, invoices, and proposals.
    • Maintain current vendor and emergency contact lists and property information.
    • Coordinate catering and lunch program scheduling.
    • Support meetings and conference room reservations.
    • Provide monthly on-site support at the Chantilly, VA office on an as-needed basis.

    Required Qualifications

    • U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship).
    • Residence in Virginia and ability to work onsite in Herndon, VA, 5 days/week.
    • Ability to travel once per month to Chantilly, VA.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Bachelor s degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Professional, courteous interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all organizational levels.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Active security clearance.

    Work Environment

    • Front desk/reception coverage in a professional office setting.
    • Occasional after-hours work may be required to support business needs.
