Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Working under moderate supervision, the Facilities Coordinator primarily serves facility users including the general student population, student athletes and teams that make use of the athletic and recreation facilities on the north side of campus. Duties include equipment inventory, oversight of the Wyant Athletic and Wellness Center as well as set-up and take-down of athletic events which involves some night and weekend hours. Supervise the work of student employees on the north side.

CONTACTS
Department: Daily contact with Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations, all department faculty and staff members and student worker staff as it relates to day-to-day operations, service and maintenance.
University: Frequent contact with university faculty and staff while hosting special events.
External: Frequent contact with rental clients when hosting events.
Students: Daily contact with undergraduate student workers and facility users when providing instructions, resolving issues and providing services.
SUPERVISION
Provide direct supervision for student workers at Wyant Athletic and Wellness Center and North Residential Village operations, as well as those that will be assisting in event set up, competition set up and logistics.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 2 years of work experience required. Experience in collegiate athletics, recreation and/or facility operations and equipment management preferred.
Education/Licensing: High school education required. Bachelors degree preferred. Valid drivers license required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
WORKING CONDITIONS
Employee will be subject to contact with human blood and/or tissue. Employee will be called on to drive a university vehicle. Some night and weekend hours may be required.
