Burnett is currently partnering with a global leader in onsite office support. Currently, one of their large legal firms in Houston has a Facilities Associate opening. The Facilities Associate is responsible for providing daily back-office services for the onsite clients and teams. The role is Temp-to-Hire and is starting ASAP!
Job Duties:
- Assist with in-office relocations, helping move furniture/files/etc when someone is changing office space
- Helping setup new office spaces with furniture, electronics, etc. for new employees
- Getting conference rooms prepared for meetings by ensuring necessary electronics are in place.
- Assisting with file box moves in the office as trials conclude, etc.
- Interact professionally with clients in person, over the phone or electronically.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum (1) year facilities/office services skills are required.
- Ability to life up to 40 lbs consistently, more weight with assistance.
- Ability to bend, squat, walk consistently all day.
- Familiar with traditional hand tools for furiture/cubicle assembly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone and email etiquette.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory level.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated with positive can-do attitude.
Location/Hours/Salary/etc:
- Position is located Downtown Houston (77002 off Louisiana St)
- Parking IS NOT provided but can be found close by easily
- Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am - 6pm
- Role is Temp-to-Hire
- Starting Pay is $18/hr while temp
- 3 Month Temp-to-Hire
