JOB SUMMARY:
Clemson University is looking for a Facilities Assistant to fulfill the following duties:
JOB DUTIES:
60% - Essential - Facilities Maintenance:
Assists with routine maintenance, such as clean-up, pressure washing painting and drywall repair, at assigned athletic facilities. Assists with off-season maintenance on assigned facilities, such as cleaning, painting, trash and weed removal and other repairs.
25% - Essential - Facilities Set-up and Breakdown:
Assists in set-up and breakdown of all athletic facilities, including set-up for practices, Jervey Gym rentals and events, Presidents Box, the West Endzone, track meet rentals, and baseball stadium rentals. Installs and removes rowing course.
15% - Essential - Game-day Maintenance:
Troubleshoots facility maintenance issues during assigned games.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Licenses - Drivers License Class D normal < 26,000

No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the departments budget.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard Hours: 28 Hours / Week
COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Band: G02 ($12.69 / Hour - $13.00 / Hour)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidates previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemsons compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL
Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
