Facilities and Operations Manager

FACILITIES AND OPERATIONS MANAGER, Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, to ensure that the building, laboratory infrastructure, equipment, and facility operations function safely, reliably, and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for building and equipment maintenance and repair requests; Track and follow up on work orders and service calls with MIT departments and external vendors; Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance for building systems, laboratory equipment, and related infrastructure; Provide day-to-day supervision of Glassware Preparation Core Facility staff; Support small-scale construction, renovation, and relocation projects in coordination with KI Administration leadership; Coordinate management of construction activities and minimize disruption to building operations; Develop and maintain building contingency plans in partnership with the EHS Coordinator; Maintain building and laboratory security, including oversight of related systems and security initiatives; Manage utility services, safety equipment, and environmental control systems; Perform other duties as assigned.
