Accountabilities:

- Recommend modifications and requirement changes to facilitate completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist with contractor bids.
- Assist with invoices, financial, filing and other tasks as it relates to projects and facilities
- Contact outside vendors for repairs, when necessary.
- Source materials and equipment with the help of the Facilities Manager as it relates to general maintenance projects within the budget constraints.
- Work within owner proprietary application (WEB/TMA) to plan, schedule and assign work to ensure proper distribution of assignments, equipment, and materials.
- Utilize, support and train others on WEBTMA Database.
- Assist team for productivity and quality of work.
- Keep key managers appraised of issues as it relates to equipment and building systems.
- Establish effective relationships with key managers.
- Enforce guidelines as it relates to MIOSHA General Industry, Department of Agriculture, state local and city codes.
- Contribute to organizational effectiveness by training and offering information, suggestions and recommendations.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state of the art practices and networking.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- High school diploma. Preferred grocery experience
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.
- Proficient computer skills in excel, word and email. Able to learn and use a variety of proprietary applications and technology.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Proficient management and leadership skills.
- Proficient maintenance and repair skills.
- Has good working knowledge of power and small tools
- Thinks outside the box; possess critical thinking skills
