    Accountabilities:

    • Recommend modifications and requirement changes to facilitate completion of assigned tasks.
    • Assist with contractor bids.
    • Assist with invoices, financial, filing and other tasks as it relates to projects and facilities
    • Contact outside vendors for repairs, when necessary.
    • Source materials and equipment with the help of the Facilities Manager as it relates to general maintenance projects within the budget constraints.
    • Work within owner proprietary application (WEB/TMA) to plan, schedule and assign work to ensure proper distribution of assignments, equipment, and materials.
    • Utilize, support and train others on WEBTMA Database.
    • Assist team for productivity and quality of work.
    • Keep key managers appraised of issues as it relates to equipment and building systems.
    • Establish effective relationships with key managers.
    • Enforce guidelines as it relates to MIOSHA General Industry, Department of Agriculture, state local and city codes.
    • Contribute to organizational effectiveness by training and offering information, suggestions and recommendations.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state of the art practices and networking.

    Education, Experience and Skills:

    • High school diploma. Preferred grocery experience
    • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.
    • Proficient computer skills in excel, word and email. Able to learn and use a variety of proprietary applications and technology.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
    • Proficient management and leadership skills.
    • Proficient maintenance and repair skills.
    • Has good working knowledge of power and small tools
    • Thinks outside the box; possess critical thinking skills
