About the Role:
We’re hiring a Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operation of a large commercial facility with critical infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in building systems, HVAC, boilers, or electrical maintenance who wants to grow into a more specialized environment.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining essential building equipment such as chillers, air handlers, pumps, generators, boilers, and electrical panels, ensuring the facility remains fully operational 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily walkthroughs, inspections, and preventative maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Monitor and maintain chillers, boilers, air compressors, air handlers, VFDs, lighting, and building controls.
  • Respond to facility alarms and troubleshoot building systems as needed.
  • Complete maintenance tickets and update work logs.
  • Support vendor coordination and ensure all work is performed safely.
  • Participate in emergency response protocols and support incident documentation.
Preferred Background:
  • 2–5 years of experience in building maintenance, mechanical/HVAC repair, facilities operations, or plant engineering.
  • Familiarity with boiler systems, chillers, pumps, or HVAC.
  • Experience reading mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, or operating manuals.
  • Strong hands-on skills with tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • [Optional] Previous work in a critical facility, healthcare, or data center environment a plus.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
  • High-Pressure Boiler License
  • HVAC-R Certification
  • Stationary Engineer License
  • OSHA 10/30
