Fabricator / Pipefitter Welder

Location: Effingham, SC
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM 

McCall Farms is currently seeking a skilled Fabricator / Pipefitter Welder to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing metal structures, piping systems, and equipment used in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with welding, pipefitting, and metal fabrication in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and welding of metal parts, equipment, and piping systems.

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems used in manufacturing operations.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials using hand tools and welding equipment.

• Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding as required.

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures.

• Assist the maintenance team with equipment repairs and fabrication projects as needed.

• Position  requires operating equipment from heights such as scissor lifts, boom lift, and forklift. 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pipefitting, welding, and metal fabrication required. 3 Years minimum 

• Experience using welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders, and fabrication tools.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Must be dependable and able to work the scheduled shift.
