JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible to provide general fabrication and assembly support for the Energy systems sales, service, rental, and construction departments.

Essential Duties:

• Provide fabrication and assembly support to complete customer orders
• Install vent extensions, & spill boxes on generators
• Install DPF systems & load bank systems on generators
• Work with project management team to spec modification estimates

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• · Able to do heavy and light welding & sheet metal fabrication
• Basic electrical experience with simple AC and DC systems and read high level schematic
• Assembly experience with sheet metal tools, drills, mechanical and fasteners
• General pluming knowledge and use of threaded black pipe to Install vent extensions, & spill boxes
• Installation of mechanical sub- assemblies and accessories on all types of generators and related equipment
• Knowledge of fuel tank and enclosure modifications and part manufacturing
• Forklift and crane operation and use
• Ability to do light design and project layout
• Proficient in Mig, Tig or Stick
• Must have valid driver license
• Must be able to travel occasionally

Engine Repair and preservation experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

2 years welding or fabrication in field work or shop work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Welding or Fabricator Certified

Experience:

5+ years' experience in welding or fabrication in field work or shop work
