Fabricator (Service Technician)
Are you a skilled fabricator with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? Join our dynamic team as a Fabricator (Service Technician) and be a vital part of producing high-quality components that meet exacting standards. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with industry-leading fabrication techniques while contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
What Youll Do:
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Use diverse welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding, to craft durable components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brakes and plasma cutters.
- Assemble parts and perform precise measurements using calipers and micrometers.
- Safely handle rigging tasks when moving heavy materials or equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety standards and ASME codes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in fabrication, construction, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ductwork fabrication and pipe threading.
- Ability to operate forklifts and heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of soldering techniques and machining processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in construction or manufacturing fields preferred.
- Technical training or certifications in welding or fabrication are advantageous.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in person at our facility.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and ASME standards.
- Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy machinery or welding are a plus.
