Summary:

• Location: Norfolk, VA
• Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Assist in fabricating and manufacturing various components of specialized equipment used in industrial water treatment applications.
• Ensure proper and safe use of drill presses, belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders, ironworkers, and other specialized equipment to fabricate parts and water treatment systems.
• Pipe-fit various materials such as PVC, CPVC, fiberglass, and stainless steel.
• Practice good safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment and prevent injuries.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices by keeping fabrication and tool storage areas neat and clean, including timely cleanup of work areas after each job is completed.
• Perform confined space entry in small tanks with 14x18” manways.
• Travel for field repair and installation if needed.
• Maintain records and reports as required.
