Our client, in Omaha NE, a leading industrial products manufacturer, is seeking a Fabricator to join their team. As a Fabricator, you will be part of the Fabrication Department supporting production and operations teams.The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently—qualities that will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Fabricator
Location: Omaha, NE
Pay Range: $22 - $24/hr DOE
What’s the Job?
• Operate fabrication machinery including CNC lasers, waterjets, press brakes, rollers, punch presses, milling machines, grinders, and saws
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to produce accurate fabricated components
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and squares to verify precision
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions, labor reporting, and material tracking through ERP systems
• Support continuous improvement efforts and adhere to 5S, safety, quality, and ISO standards
What’s Needed?
• 1–2 years of experience in a fabrication or job‑shop environment
• Ability to safely set up and operate a wide range of fabrication machinery
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to interpret blueprints and perform basic algebra, geometry, and metric conversions
• Familiarity with ERP systems and willingness to complete forklift and overhead crane certification What’s in it for me?
