You'll be able to hone your technical abilities through performing fabrication work for Aeronautical Accessories' manufacturing department under general supervision. What you'll be doing as a Fabricator + Perform basic window and plastic fabrication under supervision + Assist with 1st piece inspection and completion of work orders + Identify and record parts and serial numbers for plastics and windows + Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area + Other duties as assigned Qualifications Skills you bring to this role + High School Diploma or GED + Experience related to job duties is preferred + Familiarity with basic measuring devices + Ability to use basic hand tools + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and work orders + Ability to learn and apply Bell Drawings, Measurements, Sheet Metal (Rivets), Torque, Safety Wire, Cotter Pins, and Proseal application Physical Requirements + Ability to wear all required PPE specific to job duties (may include respiratory equipment). + Ability to operate basic hand tools and departmental equipment safely and efficiently in order to perform assigned job duties. + Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. + Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift. + Ability to operate computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and software related to job duties. + Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools. + Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks. + Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects. + Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues. + Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed. + Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles.
