SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Fabrication Welder for a client in Carol Stream, IL. The Fabrication Welder is responsible for building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20-24/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime availableResponsibilities of the Fabrication Welder:
MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Beam.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints (or willingness to learn)
Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus
