    Job Description 

    • The Fabrication Technician is responsible for producing, assembling, and finishing material components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring high-quality fabrication, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality standards. 

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Interpret and work from blueprint, technical drawings, and work orders. 
    • Set up and operate fabrication equipment (e.g., saws, presses, CNC machines, welding equipment, or cutting tools). 
    • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to precise specifications. 
    • Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing tasks as . 
    • Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances. 
    • Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment; report or escalate equipment issues. 
    • Maintain sound safety practices and follow all safety regulations. 

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

    • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication or design issues. 

     

     

    Qualifications/Requirements 

    • High school diploma or GED 

    • 1-3 years of fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience 

    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints 

    • Proficient with fabrication tools and machinery 

    • Basic math and measurement skills 

    • Strong attention to detail
