The Fabrication Supervisor ensures that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently, engaging team members in the work, providing guidance, coaching & feedback, and support to achieve goals. This role requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about motivating and developing employees, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop an engaged team focused on accomplishing goals and continuous improvement
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and teamwork
- Support safety as a top priority by maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPI's), utilize visual management and manage the associated improvement activities to accomplish department goals
- Maintain quality services by establishing and supporting organizational standards
- Build good relationships with internal and external customers
- Maintain staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is a plus!
- 3+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing, production, or fabrication environment preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to continuous improvement and experience with/knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience using an ERP System (Oracle, SAP, Epicor)
Work Location and Schedule:
- Sedalia, MO (onsite)
- C Shift - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 5:30am to 5:30pm
