Fabrication Shop Safety Coordinator

Join a growing steel fabrication team serving the Brookshire, TX area as Safety Coordinator. This permanent full-time role brings steady overtime of about 10 hours a week, incredible benefits, and room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Investigate incidents; keep OSHA documentation current
• Partner with leadership to build a strong safety culture
• Run the shop's day-to-day safety programs
• Conduct inspections and audits and correct hazards
• Lead toolbox talks, safety trainings, and new-hire orientations

Requirements

• Safety background in a manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environment
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Strong communication skills; comfort working on a shop floor
• Ability to work on-site in Brookshire, TX, including about 10 hours of overtime per week
